I want to give a year-end gift to CPO, but I'm concerned about cash flow.

Q: I want to give a year-end gift to Chicagoland Prison Outreach, but I’m concerned about cash flow. What are my options?

A:  Here are three tax-wise solutions that allow you to give without affecting cash flow!

Juanita Buie

"It was a great help to me as a single mom to have someone show they cared for my daughter and I by taking  time to bring Christmas gifts to us."

Juanita Buie grew up on the west side of Chicago and came to know Chicagoland Prison Outreach through a connection in Cook County Jail.

After a few years of receiving support and Christmas gifts through CPO's Angels of Hope program, Juanita had the opportunity to become the coordinator for CPO in her own church.

Watch Juanita's Story of Hope, as she shares  how her connection with CPO has impacted her life.

Walter Harris

A 2019 graduate of the Outreach Career Center's welding program, Walter Harris first heard of CPO through a counselor at his daughters school. Participating in the 16-week welding program, Harris had hands on experience, learning welding skills as well as improving his soft skills, from math courses to resume building.
